Overdraft Protection

No More Bounced Checks. Protect Yourself, Protect Your Credit

We understand that book balancing accidents can sometimes happen. If this should happen to you and you have insufficient funds in your checking account to cover a written check or withdrawal, Police FCU's, overdraft protection has your back. Police FCU offers a few overdraft protection options that can help you avoid the embarrassment of bouncing a check or having to pay merchant-returned check fees*.

Your overdraft protection options include:

Transfers from your Savings - Your checks and other drafts will be covered by funds transferred over from your savings account.
Transfers from your Line-of-Credit - Your checks and drafts will be covered by funds from your line of credit. There is no annual fee, no overdraft activation fee, nor are there any recurring overdraft transfer fees for accessing your overdraft line of credit; just your line of credit rate.
Member Privilege - If the first two overdraft protection methods are not available, or are insufficient to cover all checks and drafts, Police FCU will cover the checks and drafts up to a maximum of $400.00*.
